Making updos work for your
When experimenting with
updos, you will often find that once you have
mastered them, they are the easiest of formal
hairstyles to create before a night out. Once you
have found the updos that you can create on your
own at home, you will be free to worry about other
things besides your hair for the rest of the
evening. Updos in a tight French twist or braids piled at
the top of your head will trump all the other
formal hairstyles and leave you gorgeous.
Updos are not just for formal hairstyles
Although updos are often
created for elegant events and formal hairstyles,
you can make updos your style for any event, even
a casual one. A high, sleek ponytail with the
right accessories can look just as stunning as a
formal hairstyle or as an everyday style you could
wear with jeans. The only difference may be in the
amount of hairspray you use on updos versus every
day hair styles.
from loose French braids and a funky holder can be just as
effective as a tight one laced with gold ribbon
and beads, depending on where you are going.
Experiment with making two versions of all your updos
- one for casual wear and one to use formally.
Formal updos need not be used simply for rare
occasions; they can also be dressed down easily
and worn to the grocery store. The same hairdo
will probably not be as secure and several wisps
of hair may fall loose but that will just add to
its casual appeal. Loose strands in your updos will make you
look unceremonious and informal.
